Resilience Retreat FAQs

What food accommodations do you offer?

Gluten-free and dairy-free options will be available at every meal. All meals are nut free. Vegetarian options can be provided upon request. If you need more specialized accommodations, please contact Erica to discuss your needs before registering.

What environmental standards can I expect?

Mold: We select venues that are newer, have had no known leaks, and show no signs of water damage.

Fragrance: While we cannot guarantee a completely scent-free space, we do ask participants to refrain from using scented products, and we request that the hotel staff be perfume and scent free. Scented products have been removed from the rooms. Sheets and towels are washed with mild detergents.

Cleaners: Vinegar and water is available to clean your room upon request.

WiFi: Most venues have WiFi unless otherwise noted. However, our meeting space will be a cell phone free environment.

What about accessibility?

All meeting rooms and spaces are fully accessible. Mobility accessible rooms and roll in showers are available upon request.

Can someone accompany me?

A spouse, partner or caregiver may accompany you at no additional cost if they plan to stay in the same room. The cost to add a meal package for a support person is $400. If your support person wishes to participate in all retreat sessions, please have them complete a separate registration.

Can I arrive late or leave early?

Unless you experience unforeseen flight or travel delays, please plan to attend the entire event, and prepare your travel arrangements accordingly. We encourage you to arrive with enough time to rest, unpack and freshen up before the first session begins. If you are traveling from far away, consider arriving the night before so you can adjust to the time zone.

What should I plan to bring?

All retreat supplies will be included. Please bring comfortable clothing to allow for gentle movement, and a coat or jacket in case you wish to spend time outside during breaks. You are welcome to pack a blanket to bring to sessions if you wish. A water bottle is not required. Beverages will be provided all day.

What if I have movement or sensory limitations?

All nervous system practices are gentle and easily modifiable to fit all ability levels. We want you to listen to your body, and you will have the option to pause or simply observe any practice that is not a good fit for you at this time.
